Modern home in 100-year building overlooking the Sydney Bay

After extensive renovation, this duplex in Sydney is simply unrecognizable. The building, which is more than a hundred years old, has changed not only on the inside, but the whole exterior of the house has also been rethought. The exterior was updated in a more modern and practical way by placing a terrace on each floor. The project turned out to be difficult also due to the location of the house – it seemed to be sandwiched between the neighbors, and such a narrow space dictated its own rules. The designers solved the situation by playing with vertical lines and elongated shapes: for example, the kitchen goes over to the wall, and a full-length glass insert expands the space. The pool looks especially impressive, which is delicately inscribed in a small area of ​​the backyard.
