This house is located near Los Angeles in an area called Walnut Acres. The new owners got the home with furniture from the 1980s and a lot of vague planning decisions. Together with the designer, the owners decided to create rustic interiors, a kind of rural romance in a modern way. Beamed ceilings, wooden floors, tiles, as well as furniture and decor in natural shades are perfect for such an idea. It was also important to let in more light into the rooms, for this it was necessary to expand the windows and displace some walls. Antique furniture, linen, wool and cotton textiles and of course the attributes of suburban life: hats, baskets and a charming figurine of a lamb helped to create the right mood in the interior. By the way, there is not only a name from the farm style, the family keeps pets, chickens and beautiful garden!
