Modern bright interiors in late 19th century brownstone in Brooklyn

This brownstone is one of sixteen similar homes built in 1877 on Vanderbilt Avenue in Brooklyn. Almost nothing was left of the historical interiors, and the current look of the home is design in a modern style. From the front door, you immediately find yourself in the open space of the first floor: there is a living room, a dining room and a kitchen with an island. Everything in a pleasant milky scheme with splashes of wood and warm accents. On the second floor there is a bedroom, a nursery, and behind the barn door is a marble bathroom. A wonderful transformation of a house with history!
