In an extensive renovation, an old barn in Belgium has been transformed into a stylish modern home. Despite the fact that not many interior elements left from the original construction, it was important for the owners to maintain continuity, and not to build a new building on the territory. The designer was inspired by modern aesthetics: minimalistic furniture, pleasant gray-beige colors, clean lines and beautiful shapes. For example, there is a lot of natural stone in the kitchen – it looks functional, discreet and stylish. On the second floor, the original structure of the barn with a high ceiling and wooden beams has been preserved, they are perfectly combined with laconic furnishings and furniture. This is the very bridge between Flemish traditions and modern design!
