Designer’s gorgeous apartment in 18th-century mansion in Paris

This exquisite Parisian apartment belongs to the owner and creative director of the Casa Lopez design bureau Pierre Sauvage. The home is located in an old mansion of the 18th century, and this fact left its mark on the design and on the atmosphere in the house. Pierre kept the original layout and classic elements in the interiors and balanced them with bold decor pieces and objects from different eras. He was also not afraid to add color and painted the walls in green and blue, but still the owner’s favorite room is the living room with wood paneling from the 18th century. Wood absorbs noise and gives the room an atmosphere. The apartment conquered Pierre at first sight, according to him, he feels here as if in a spacious castle, but in the heart of Paris.
