Not all young families choose loft or Scandinavian styles. For example, one Californian family recently acquired a 1910 mansion with a swimming pool in Santa Monica, because it conquered them at first sight with its special atmosphere and original details in the interiors. However, the distribution of space did not meet the needs of the fast-growing and active family at all, so they hired local architects to renovate. Despite major redevelopment, the style and mood in the interiors seem to have remained unchanged since the time of construction. Great!
