When old English home was filled with colors: renovated 200-year-old cottage in England

This wonderful cottage in the very north of England, almost on the border with Scotland, recently celebrated its 200th anniversary, as it was built in the early 19th century. Initially, the cottage was used as a reception room for a village doctor, but over time it was bought out as a private residence. Several years ago, the house underwent another renovation, during which the architects tried to preserve the classic forms and timeless atmosphere as much as possible, while at the same time filling the interiors with bright and bold colors. It turned out just great!
