Bright and cozy summer cottage in former country store in Sweden

We are adding another home to our collection of unusual buildings converted into homes. Some 50 years ago, this yellow cottage in the Swedish countryside functioned as the only store in the village – its appearance and location by the road speak volumes about it. But in the 21st century, its original purpose was no longer in demand, so it is not surprising that the house recently fell into private ownership. The couple of Evelina and Robin saw great potential in the cottage and turned it into their cozy summer home. The bright interiors perfectly combine elements of rustic and urban styles: the kitchen and bedroom are more traditional, while the living room feels the atmosphere of a city apartment. Perfectly!
