When designer Guillaume Coutheillas bought this 1924 California barn, its interiors were designed in a Spanish colonial style, and it was a bit different from what the new owner always dreamed of, to put it mildly. And almost immediately, Guillaume started a large-scale renovation, during which it was decided to pay tribute to the past of the house: arched windows and doors were preserved, the plastered walls were leveled and painted white, the floor was replaced with natural oak, and the interiors were filled with a pleasant mix of antiques and modern details.
