At first glance, this may not be noticeable, but the interiors of this Chicago apartment in Chicago are based on contrasts: the opposition of classics and modern style, antiques and fashion items. Designer Josh Young creates an incredibly coherent and elegant image from these opposites. For this purpose, the black and white scheme works just great: a contrasting combination helps to outline the contours and place the right accents. At the same time, Josh is not at all afraid of the abundance of furniture and objects: modern posters in gold frames, vintage decor, a false fireplace and numerous figurines and vases create a feeling of a creative living space where life is in full swing. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, and even the owner’s initials on the pillowcases in the bedroom are an important detail of the interior, which emphasizes all the scrupulousness of the designer’s work!
