Kingdom of white and beautiful textures: designer’s apartment in Madrid

There are homes that need to be full of colors and prints to show their individuality, but there are those who prefer monochrome. The second option was chosen by designer Raul Martins for his apartment in Madrid. Before the renovation, the owner lived here for 4 years, and during this time he decided exactly what his ideal home should be. The basis of everything was white, which incredibly expands and cleans the space. Textured furniture and decor helped to emphasize the milky tones: a rough wood surface, beautiful marble patterns, various tiles and convex patterns on ceramics – all this helped to create a voluminous and multifaceted image. It is interesting that there are no color spots in the home at all, all accents are set with the help of textures and the play of light and shadow. Luxurious in its calmness home!
