Interesting renovation of 1952 home with 11 bedrooms in Los Angeles

This 1952 California ranch-style home is located an hour and a half north of Los Angeles and offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. A family with small children became the new owners of the 11-bedroom mansion, so it was important to make the interiors feel fresh and suitable for a modern family, while preserving the romance and beauty of the original architecture. The initial decoration of the house was quite brutal: massive plastered walls, terracotta tiled roofs, stone fireplaces and dark ceilings with exposed wooden beams made a gloomy impression. Designers have diluted these elements with white walls, colorful furniture and items from different parts of the world. As a result, a mix of eras, styles, and meanings has developed into an interesting and multifaceted home!
