Floating house of an architect in Seattle

The tradition of houseboats in Seattle is strong, given numerous bays and lakes located right in and around the city. The founder of the local architecture studio IDAA, Suzanne Stefan, also recently acquired a wonderful floating cottage in which she fully realized her dream of being close to nature. True, to get to this point she had to work really hard: the house was dilapidated and needed urgent reconstruction, which touched almost everything except the foundation. Now it is a warm and minimalist home with wooden finishes, a cozy atmosphere and wonderful water views.

    И налог на землю не платить. А как быть с канализационными стоками? Обычно же нельзя ничего строить ближе 50 метров к водоему?
