Terracotta walls and mid-century touches: eclectic apartment in old building in St. Petersburg (43 sqm)

When a client does not particularly limit the choice of style, a designer can usually try some experiments and bold solutions. So it was in this case: a small apartment with total area of 43 sqm in a 1909 house in St. Petersburg was intended for rent, so the owners gave almost complete freedom to designers Natalia and Konstantin Popandopulo. Considering the fact that the apartment has gone through different styles and times, the authors of the project decided to offer an eclectic mix of eras and approaches, while creating comfortable temporary accommodation for 4 people. Among the most striking solutions, we would highlight a partition made of glass blocks, a beautiful terracotta shade on the walls and details in the mid century style. Enjoy!
