The interiors of this historic townhouse in Washington is replete with white, and it’s not without reason – the owner Mike Green has devoted his whole life to hockey and is used to the whiteness of ice stadiums. When he and his wife were looking for a home, they were fascinated by the classic aesthetics of the historic 1914 building, which was nevertheless in a dilapidated state. “It just needs some love” – with this attitude, the couple acquired the townhouse, so that they would later enlist renowned designer Jeremiah Brent to help with the renovation. As a result, the updated interiors boast European elegance and American flair. Great design!
