Designer Chelsea Hing recently returned a stunning 1880 historic mansion in Melbourne to its former glory. It all started with the restoration of magnificent architectural details such as stucco moldings, arches, huge windows, fireplaces. At the request of the owners, a young family with children, Chelsea has diluted the strict formality of the spaces with bright modern design with whimsical touches, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The house has many interesting rooms and corners, each of which is fraught with its own special charm and fascinating story. Enjoy!
