As we remember, the most interesting homes are born after reconstruction of non-residential buildings. So, this New Jersey cottage inherited the unusual architecture from the old carriage house, that was built in this place many years ago. By the way, this is the only building that has survived from a large old estate of the 19th century. At first, the owners wanted to carry out a small update, letting in more light into the interiors, but the project has grown into a large-scale reconstruction and now it is a spacious house for a modern family.
