Unusual geometry and vintage in design of Lyon apartment

This duplex apartment in Lyon has a bold, modern look that blends in with vintage. The owner and designer really liked the theme of geometry, which they successfully used both in finishes and decor. Old wooden beams set the tone; by the way, there are two types of them: more massive on the ground floor and in the bedroom, and thin ones in the study area. Quirky shapes are reflected in the furniture: unusual chairs are very interesting in harmony with classic vintage furniture. All this is supported by vases, textiles and paintings with the same geometric shapes. We also really liked the zoning solution for the kitchen – the designer chose sliding doors with an aged mirror, which also fits very well into the vintage concept. The result is a very interesting mix of styles and ideas!
