Rustic Christmas decor for 1940s home in Sweden

A few years ago, Sandra and Mikael bought this 1946 house and since then they have been carefully renovating it, with the goal of preserving the spirit of the past as much as possible. The owner found many pieces of furniture and decor at flea markets: for example, a sideboard, a dining table, an old French mirror, and much more. The family is not afraid of old things and their shabby look, according to them, such items have a special charm, and are also good for the wallet and the environment. For this year’s Christmas decor, the family chose a living tree, wicker wreaths, paper garlands and dried fruit decor, which is very in tune with the vintage interiors of the house!
