White floor and colored walls and ceiling: unusual use of color in a Danish cottage

Usually in any interior, the walls are painted some color, the ceiling is left white, while parquet or tile is laid on the floor. But in this Danish cottage, the owners used color without any rules or stereotypes, showing a truly unconventional approach. To begin with, the wooden floors throughout the house are painted white, with a shiny glossy effect. But the ceilings here are colored – from yellow to dark blue, and each room has its own shade. The walls have also interesting colors, and all this together looks very cheerful and bright. A great example of a bold approach to the design of a country cottage!

Здорово, но не для жизни: готовить на такой кухне рука не поднимется, а собачка и дети превратят белый пол очень быстро в грязный. Как арт-обьект – да.
