Famous actress Gwyneth Paltrow took inspiration for the design of her sweet home in the quiet neighborhood of Montecito in eastern Santa Barbara, California, not in modern trends, but in old European villas and timeless proportions. By the way, the local nature here is very reminiscent of the Mediterranean region, and this is why these lands were chosen by immigrants from Italy at the end of the 19th century. Gwyneth’s house also seemed to be frozen in time, although it was built quite recently: French windows, checkerboard floors, marble, a collection of plates in the kitchen. Of course, modern furniture and decor are also here, but they look very appropriate and harmonious here. What a wonderful design!

На мой взгляд, выглядит все как-то наоборот – Гвинет Пэлтроу искала вдохновение в модных тенденциях. Судя по фото, модные тенденции все-таки превалируют над традиционностью. :)
