This stunning contemporary villa is located on the island of Crete but offers views as good as those of Santorini. It’s all about the location on the top of the hill, from which the sea surface opens for many kilometers in all its beauty. The house was built in a minimalist style to blend in with the local semi-desert nature as much as possible, and the plants on the roof did a great job of camouflaging the villa from the outside. The interiors seem to echo the architecture and are also designed in a light modern style, in which elements of Scandinavian, Japanese and Mediterranean design are intertwined.
