It’s hard to believe, but a few years ago this home in the Hamptons looked dark and gloomy, with heavy over-scaled furniture and uncomfortable zoning. During the recent renovation, designer Maureen Winter McDermott did not structurally change anything – her task was to update the space and find the right furniture and decor for a young family living. With the help of light colors, elegant modern interior items and natural materials, the house has been transformed beyond recognition and now pleases its new owners and their guests. Enjoy!
