To be honest, log houses are far from the most popular type of suburban housing in the United States, or rather, a very rare case. But nevertheless, we found one such cottage in the suburbs of New York – it belongs to the family of the designer Hannah Oravec, who comes here on weekends and on holidays. When the couple bought the house, its interiors were dark and uncomfortable, but after a thoughtful alteration, now there is a lot of light and coziness. Such a nice weekend home!
