A light base, laconic modern design and a large collection of paintings by contemporary artists on the walls – that’s how you can briefly describe the design of the villa of art curator’s family in Melbourne. Although the house was built before World War II, the updated interiors has almost no classical details or other reminders of the building’s deep past. Nevertheless, the space turned out to be refined, and the decor is sophisticated, for all its modernity. We really loved the pleasant inclusions of pastel shades, which certainly enlivened the interior and filled the house with even more charm. Enjoy!
