While working on this project, the designers of Hecker Guthrie had a rather ambitious task – to highlight the grandeur of this luxurious European-style 19th century villa in Melbourne with a light, but sophisticated and cozy modern design. The design authors say they were inspired by the relaxed life of the south of Italy – hence the natural stone on the floor in the living room, warm sand tones and straw details. It should be noted that the interiors perfectly combine refined modern objects with details in a rustic style, in some rooms elegant stucco and classic lines have been preserved. Magnificent house!
