Australian studio Techne recently reimagined the interiors of a beautiful 1930s house in Melbourne. While the facade being largely preserved (apart from some of the windows that have been replaced with larger ones), the interiors are now a colorful modern mix of styles and rich colors, with only slight hints of the age of the house. The character of the renovated home is well illustrated by photographs on the walls and a large cactus as decoration – this is a playful and in many ways eclectic home for an active modern family.
