Sydney home with unique roof and spectacular black kitchen

Because of its unusual roof, this house in Sydney was named “Zig Zag House” by the authors of the project, Stukel Studio. Its broken lines are visible not only from the facade, but also create a special mood in the interiors. Among other things that impress in this design is the all-black kitchen, which seems to merge with the accent black wall that goes up to the ceiling. It is noteworthy that modern architecture is only part of the home, its new extension, while the historical front section has also been preserved. An interesting interplay of new and old!
