When designer Helena Martin first saw this apartment in an old house in Madrid, everything was very bad. In some places, it even seemed to her that there was a fire here. But what not to take away from such spaces is character – high ceilings and windows have become the main part of the renovated housing. The young family of owners aspired to a more open concept of living, so the kitchen was connected with the living room into one bright space. The color scheme in the apartment is light and natural: a lot of warm wood, green kitchen, sandy walls. Nice renovation of historic housing!
