This magnificent Victorian villa is one of the iconic neoclassical buildings of the small town of Ramsgate in Kent. The house was built in 1840 for a local noble family and to this day remains an excellent example of true English housing. The current owners recently carried out a large-scale reconstruction, but you will never tell that anything has changed here over the past 100 years – the house still looks fabulous. And what a garden it has!
