When Melanie and her husband bought this large Connecticut estate with a barn and guest cabin, it would have been easier to tear it all down and build a new home. But the couple decided to take the difficult and painstaking path of renovating the old house because they really wanted to preserve the home’s centuries-old charm. After several years of hard work, it is now an incredibly cozy country house with a lot of character and bright decor. Enjoy!
