Villa Plinianina is one of the most famous surviving examples of 19th century Italian eclectic architecture to be found on the shores of Lake Como. Its façade mixes Gothic and Renaissance elements, and the colorful details make the house stand out from its neighbors. On the 2nd floor of the villa is a magnificent guest apartment, which the new owners, a young family from Munich, recently renovated with respect for the history of the building. The updated interior is dramatic and elegant – here the original frescoes on the walls coexist beautifully with fashionable designer furniture from famous world brands. Enjoy watching!
