When Ciarán McGuigan, creative director of furniture brand Orior, first came to this New York loft, it wasn’t love at first sight. “I actually hit my head on the ceiling when I was going up there,” the future owner recalls of his first acquaintance with the property. The layout also left much to be desired – the apartment consisted of four or five small rooms, and resembled a labyrinth. But a few demolished walls and a raised ceiling completely transformed the space – now there is a lot of air and natural light, and the interiors have become as open as possible. The decor shows creative notes and the inhabitants’ love for furniture and art. Enjoy!
