A typical Swedish family has two options for purchasing a country home: find and restore an old traditional cottage or build a house from scratch to their taste. And although the first option is much more common, Swedes often choose the construction path. This was the case this time – Sandra and Martin had long known down to the smallest detail what kind of house they wanted for their family, so all that was left was to find a suitable plot. And a few years ago, they found one – in a beautiful country area on the west coast of Sweden, where the couple created their cozy nest. The cottage turned out to be bright and inspiring, while its design combines both traditional and modern Scandinavian touches. Enjoy!
