Although serious work was done to improve the layout and functionality of the space, the most attractive thing about this spacious Manhattan apartment is the color scheme. Designer Paris Forino recalls her surprise when the clients set an unusual condition at the first meeting – ‘the interiors must be pink.’ It was important not to slide into an overly feminine Barbie-style pink (after all, this is a modern big-city home for a family) – so the studio resorted to stylish dusty and muted shades. This scheme, combined with bright designer furniture and art objects, gave the spaces original touches and interesting notes. Enjoy watching!
