Alec and Jennifer, a couple of private investors and collectors from Chicago, fell in love with the Big Sky ski resort in Montana at first sight when they visited it in 2019. Then they immediately noticed a land plot on the top of the mountain with amazing views for many kilometers – and the wife firmly decided that they wanted to buy a house for an ideal winter vacation right here. But there was one problem – the construction of a large residence of over 1000 square meters was already in full swing on the site. Nevertheless, this did not scare off the future owners and they asked the Commune studio to adapt the house project, especially its interiors, to the needs of a large and friendly family. As a result, the house turned out to be both elegant and cozy, with notes of French chalets and American scope.
