Designer Alissa Johnson is proud of how she managed to combine elegant modern style with practicality for family living with kids in the interiors of this Illinois home. The interiors feature a lot of designer furniture and art pieces, as well as bold dark shades in places (even in the kidsroom). On the other hand, there are a lot of soft furniture and relaxation areas, as well as natural materials and tones, which certainly contribute to relaxation. Wonderful project!
