Modern extension to old bungalow in Melbourne

This house in Melbourne has two sides. The main one, also known as the front one, is an old bungalow from the 1930s with a modest one-story facade and a lovely porch. The other side is a modern extension in the backyard, which forms a beautiful harmony with the lush garden. It may seem that these are two different homes and two completely different philosophies of life, but the owners and architects simply wanted to combine the beautiful past with modern concepts of coziness and comfort in this way. Great project!
