Color blocking in design of historic apartment in Barcelona

Instead of a classic interior with a museum-like renovation, there is a striking space with stylish modern furniture and splashes of color. This apartment in a 1901 building in Barcelona recently underwent a radical transformation. Studio VilaBlanch took a bold approach to decorating this historical home, while preserving elegant moldings and characteristic architectural details. The most striking thing in their work is the use of color – contrasting shades are used in blocks, creating a rather original impression. Enjoy!
