The white facade of this historic townhouse in New York City’s famous Greenwich Village stands out from the typical brownstone buildings nearby. Over its 150-plus-year history, the house has unfortunately undergone various modifications and lost many of its characteristic features both inside and out. But Elisabeth Roberts was able to restore the townhouse to its former glory by carrying out a major renovation with a complete interior update. Now it is an elegant, modern living space that still retains the magnificent character of the past. Great job!
