Concrete, wood and stylish design: modern renovation of Brisbane home

When renovating this small 1926 cottage in Brisbane, Alexandra Buchanan Architecture decided to play on the contrasting combination of industrial materials and natural wood details. Thus, almost the entire house has microcement or tiled floors, while several types of natural wood were used for the ceilings, partitions, and cabinetry. Despite the modest area of ​​the house, it has a wonderful integration with the garden, and also a stylish swimming pool as a pleasant bonus.
