When designer Christian Bense bought this small flat near Battersea Park in London, he had grand plans for its renovation. “Some walls would be knocked down, the tiny 3-sq-m kitchen would no longer be the same, and the second bedroom would become a spacious bathroom” – these are just a few of the changes that the new owner was going to implement immediately. But we can imagine how disappointed he was when it turned out that almost all of his wishes could not be realized due to the restrictions of the old architecture. Christian had to work with what was there, without changing the configuration of the rooms, but the home still turned out very cozy and aesthetically pleasing, and we can watch the details here for hours!
