Leman Lock is a new 168-room boutique hotel in London’s Aldgate area. The concept of this modern hotel is based on a simple idea: the designers, together with the owner, wanted to create a stylish and comfortable space for young people, including professionals who come to London with business trips. Hence, such a bold, to some extent avant-garde design which can be described as minimalism in pink. Interestingly, almost all the furniture in the hotel was designed for this project: beds, sofas, wardrobes, tables — everything was created according to individual sketches. The designers wanted to create a universal space, which at the same time could become a guest house, albeit for a short time. Perhaps that is why they chose this friendly pink shade.

The way from the exquisite 18th century manor to the modern hotel: this is the story of the Heckfield Place Country Hotel in Gamshire, England. For 250 years, the main building and the adjacent buildings changed with time, but one thing remained unchanged: elegant English style. The designer decided not to make the design too classics, but created a discreet mix, where luxury in the form of crystal chandeliers and marble is combined with rural simplicity. Elegant furniture is combined with simple wooden benches, and art objects are combined with bouquets of wildflowers and herbariums in frames. The owners of the hotel are very proud of the nature that surrounds Heckfield Place – lakes, ancient oaks and gardens with lavender. And those who do not like nature, can relax in a stylish and cozy cinema, which is located directly at the hotel – by the way, anyone can get into […]
Valletta, the charming capital of the island of Malta, was founded in the XVI century, and only 6,000 people live here now. But thanks to its rich history and beautiful architecture, the city has become a point of attraction for tourists from all over the world. There are not so many hotels in Valletta, but almost all of them are located in old buildings – like this boutique hotel, Casa Ellul. The hotel is located in the building of 1837, and this influenced its concept. Casa Ellul’s interior design motto is luxury in simplicity. The rooms open to views of the gorgeous two-hundred-year-old buildings and cozy streets, and the interiors are simple and elegant, with clean lines and calm tones. Vintage furniture and paintings with Maltese landscapes gave a highlight to the design. Wonderful place where you can feel the spirit of the ancient city!
The interiors of the Eden Locke Hotel in Edinburgh remind us of the sweet kingdom of children’s fairy tales, as the mint and pink shades evoked associations with sweets and cakes. This bold and playful interior design contrasts with the strict buildings of the Scottish capital, and this further enhances the impression. Eden Locke has 72 rooms in pastel colors with gold accents. Live plants perfectly refresh the interiors, while modern and rather restrained furniture balanced soft pastel colors. An interesting project for the rather conservative Edinburgh!
The AWOL Hotel is located at the very end of the Cape Cod Peninsula famous for its unique nature. All hotel rooms overlook the beautiful sea shore which is flooded in winter time but in the summer become overgrown with lush green grass, and this place becomes simply magical. The building itself is made of wood, while interior design is minimalist with light colors and natural materials. Hotel guests can sunbathe by the pool, ride a bike along the ocean, or sit by the fire and watch the sunset. An ideal place for those who seek peace and unity with nature.
Le Belleval hotel in the Saint-Lazare district in Paris is named after the 16th century botanist Pierre Richer de Belleval. His life and work were reflected not only in the name, but also formed the style concept of the hotel interiors – an elegant Parisian classic made with love for flowers. Interiors with exquisite furniture were complemented with wallpapers, knitwear and accessories with floral prints. In some rooms, an entire wall is devoted to floral theme (also in the inner garden), and in some rooms this is only an minor accent. Look at the cute nightstands which resemble a rope swing – such details seem to carry the guests to the summer garden, where roses bloom and bugs buzz. Awesome hotel with interesting design and French charm!
