This lovely beach cottage by Threshold Interiors may not have incredible ocean views (like this Californian villa), but the atmosphere of summer vacation is clearly felt in the decoration. If you look at the living room, you can find wicker tables, a large sea photograph on the wall, a sandy-gray colored sofa – seems like you have come to your long-awaited coastal holiday. And textures here are just outstanding – look at these tiled patterns in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. Total love!
If we were not told that this incredibly cozy country cottage with a red facade is located in the village of Kratovo near Moscow, Russia, we would have no doubt that it is in Sweden or Norway. House owner Anna has a long-standing love for the Scandinavian design and admires Norwegian red cottages with white windows, so she decided to renovate her old cottage in the northern style. The interiors are very soulful and cozy, with floral wallpapers, old family furniture and new pieces of decor. Adorable home!
