A bright, stylish and unforgettable mix of styles and colors – is the main idea behind the interiors of this spacious apartment in Barcelona. Look at the living room: the cheerful pink shades prevail in the upholstery and decor, but at the same time the walls and the ceiling are finished with bricks and concrete. The kitchen surprises with its dark, almost black scheme. The bedroom is a Scandinavian space in neutral tones. And there is also an absolutely magnificent terrace with outdoor furniture for full relaxation. Wonderful project!
French design studio Double G is not one of those that usually create calm interiors in a light neutral scheme or just white spaces. These designers are primarily great masters of color and texture (which is, by the way, very difficult), and their work always surprises with courage and bright color combinations. Just look at this apartment next to the famous Saint-Sulpice church in Paris – each room offers something special and interesting. In the living room, for example, pastel pink rules, in the kitchen – unique tiles with an active pattern, and in the bedrooms, bright wallpapers make the difference. Excellent design, but not for everyone!
The color scheme of this Swedish apartment consists of white and gray base and touches of turquoise and pink. Pastel colors not only softened and diversified the interiors but also created an atmosphere of spring. A lovely balcony drowning in flowers also added to the light and lively character of this home.
Designers of the Swedish brand H&M Home seem to work day and night to literally every month to present something interesting and inspiring. Only recently we posted about their tender and soft line New Palette, and the store has already prepared a new mini-collection named Eclectic Glam. It’s a wonderful interior in the style of art deco decorated with their cool new products. Hope you’ll like it!
Adding a color to a room with light neutral base is one of the most difficult and simultaneously fascinating tasks. How to choose the right tone, how to avoid too many accents, how to convey the atmosphere? The designers of this Swedish apartment know all the answers. Here, pink and burgundy do not play a major role, but without these shades, the interiors would not look so attractive. Everything here is decorated very subtly and competently, with scrupulousness and love. Charming home!
Interior design is actress Hilary Duff’s favourite hobby, so in her California home she invested a lot of energy and imagination. Together with a designer, Hillary managed to create a stylish and comfy design, which reflects the tastes and interests of the owner. For example, Duff is very fond of bright prints and pastel colors – they are the starting point. In addition to the ornaments, all the rooms are united by a pink color, which refreshes coolly and gives the interior femininity. The theme of prints continues in the garden too – black and white geometric print decorates the bar counter. Hilary says this house reflects her, and we readily believe – it’s really so stylish, sophisticated and unique!
This year pastel tones continue to be at the leading positions in design, but world furniture and home furnishing manufacturers encourage to experiment and look for new and unusual shades. H&M Home recently presented a beautiful collection called New Palette, which focuses on a soft and tender color scheme. Powder pink and ruby reds – these interiors will give a lot of inspiration if you’ve always wanted to add some freshness to your home!
There are as many options for decorating the home for Christmas as there are styles in interior design. For example, a festive apartment can become very pink and tender just like this home in Spain. Beige and pink Christmas decor is stunningly combined with the decoration in pastel colors, which only enhances the feeling of comfort and tranquility. A fireplace, candles and garlands with warm light add even more coziness. Beauty!
If you want to enliven an interior you can do so not only with the help of contrast colors and textures but also with accents of pastel tones. In this apartment in Gothenburg the pink color in all possible variations became accentuated. And the individuality and style of the owners were emphasized by original paintings and small details. Enjoy
29 sqm is quite a small area even for a studio apartment. But in this case, Swedish designers managed to design a fully functional flat with a separate bedroom (although so tiny). Of course, to live in this apartment you need to be very slender :) and not be afraid of limited spaces, but this option is perfect, for example, for a student or a young girl who spends a lot of time away from home.
