Small but smart apartment in Moscow (32 sqm)

The owners of this small apartment of 32 sqm in a typical Moscow panel inherited it from their parents, but the standard distribution of space did not suit at all. With the help of designer Igor Kurkin, who completely rethought the functional areas without changing the layout, they managed to fill the interiors with light and air, and make it much more suitable for the needs of the owners. So, the only living room in the apartment now performs the function of both the living room and the bedroom – the zones are conventionally divided by a shelving with books. A great design option for typical housing!
