Mix of Scandinavian minimalism and oriental chic

The design of this apartment in Sweden (125 sqm) is an example of how to combine two or more styles within one home. On the one hand, the Scandinavian style prevails in this apartment: a lot of white, natural wood, laconic and modest execution of the kitchen. However, looking closely, you can see the gilded candelabra, chandeliers and mirrors with incredible decor – this is Empire style. Looking into the bedroom, we find ourselves in an oriental tale with an abundance of bronze, silk and velvet, the living room sofa area also belongs to the eastern style – bright pillows from various fabrics resemble a cozy corner in the sheikh’s palace. The zebra wall in the bathroom, as well as wicker baskets and fancy sculptures throughout the house, is a tribute to the ethnic style. At the same time, kids rooms are designed in a calm scheme and gravitate more towards the classics and such a Scandinavian style that is familiar to us.
