In order to have more light and spacious dwelling, the new owners of this duplex apartment in Madrid had to say goodbye to some architectural elements that remained from the previous owners. Many partitions were dismantled (now there is a lot of open space), a cumbersome spiral staircase replaced by a more concise one in white, and old walls were renovated with paint. Sometimes it’s really better not to complicate!
