The owner of this small apartment in the south-west of Moscow travels a lot and always bring back different souvenirs from her trips: paintings, vases, rugs, sculptures. This entire collection of interesting stuff had to be placed on an area of only 53 sqm, so the floor plan had to sacrifice some functional areas. The decision arose almost instantly – it a big kitchen, which became the starting point of the future interior. Designer Irina Kireeva proposed an original solution – to make the kitchen as compact as possible and hide behind a sliding mirrored door in the living room. Now the apartment resembles a small private gallery where the owner can comfortably receive guests.
