Luxury, comfort and tradition: The Craftsmen Hotel in Amsterdam

Three historic buildings dating back to 1652 beautifully frame one of the oldest canals in Amsterdam. After a large-scale reconstruction, The Craftsmen boutique hotel is now located in them. The hotel is designed with great attention to detail and to the past of the Dutch capital. For example, each of the 14 rooms is named after one of the local crafts: The Instrument Makers Single Room, The Bike Builders Deluxe Double Room, The Boat Builders Signature Suite. Hence, there are so many vintage and antiques, tools, unusual furniture and lamps in the interiors. The original decor pieces were designed and completed by a separate team of craftsmen and illustrators. In the rooms and common areas, you can even find old canoes, jetliner emergency exit doors, shoe blocks and much more, fitted into the interior. Thanks to such work, the hotel has turned into a real exhibition of outlandish things, and all this is combined with high-quality service and incredible comfort!
